The incoming Michael Colglazier will replace the incumbent Whitesides effective from the 20th of July. He is remembered as the president and managing director of Disney’s amusement parks.
Although George Whitesides will vacate the CEO’s position, he will be taking on the role of chief space officer. He will be delving into the business opportunities as well as hypersonic travels. Additionally, Whitesides will be the leader of the company’s space advisory board.
